Born on 28th March 1915 [Blything 4a:2025] the son of Arthur and Mary BOWLER (née ASHMAN) of Newmarket.

Kenneth was a boot repairer. He was married to Florence Elizabeth MILLAR [13-3-1916] in Q1-1939 in Newmarket, living at the time of his death at 3 Sidehill Terrace, Cheveley Road, Newmarket.

In the 1939 register they were at 3 Duxford Terrace, Cheveley Road, Newmarket. Florence later married Samuel UNDERWOOD.
His parents, Arthur [23-8-1887] a master hairdresser and Mary [9-8-1886] with his brother Stanley [20-3-1916] an ironmonger's assistant and sister Joan [18-10-1923] a laundry worker (later Mrs Turner) were at 8 Rutland Terrace, All Saints Road, Newmarket


He was stationed on Fordham Road, Newmarket and died in West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds Hospital of appendicitis and septicaemia






Kenneth is buried in Newmarket Cemetery- Ref: K:248
